How To Share Airtel Data
Airtel Data Share which is further known as Gifting & Sharing consists of two different types. One is called Me2u while the other is Gifting. The Me2u allows you to share or send your existing data bundle to other Airtel users.
This is just like a case of sending data to anyone using their phone number. On the part of Airtel Data Gifting, it involved buying data for another Airtel user which might be your loved ones or partner.

You can use this option if you don’t have enough existing data or wish to buy new data for the person. These two data sharing options are good depending on your demand and wants.
Below we will be showing you how to transfer or share Airtel Data with anyone. To transfer data, you will have to make up your mind on the amount of data you wish to transfer.

Step 1: To send 10MB to a friend or anyone, simply dial *141*712*11*Phone Number#. The phone number is the number of the person you want to transfer the data to. When prompted, put 1 to confirm the transfer.
Step 2: To transfer 25MB to a friend or anyone, dial *141*712*9*Phone Number#. The phone number is the number of the person you want to transfer the data to and then dial 1 when prompted to confirm the transfer.
Step 3: To transfer 60MB to a family or friend, dial *141*712*4*Phone Number# and follow the steps 2 to confirm the transfer.
Alternatively, you can dial *141#, and select option 6 which is the Gifting & Sharing option, and then select 4 which is the Me2u option to process the transfer. You should choose the amount of data you wished to transfer. Using the Me2u option is free.
Step 1: Dial *141# and Select 6 for Gifting & Sharing.
Step 2: Press 4 for Data Me2U.
Step 3: Now press 2 to send Me2U from the existing allowance. (You should change your PIN from the default “1234” if you have not done so by selecting option 1 instead).
Step 4: Enter the recipient Number and send.
Step 5: Enter the Data Allowance eg 200MB and send.
Step 6: Finally enter your PIN to confirmed the data transfer.

Data Gifting is easy, all you have to do is to dial *141# and then select the SmartShare Option and choose the number 6 and then press 2 which is the Gifting option. Now you can process the transfer by choosing the amount of MB you wished to transfer and the plan which can be daily weekly and monthly plans.
Hint To Note: The Data Gifting is autorenewal, so it will keep renewing after the initial Data transfer expired. In order to stop the renewal, text “Stop” to 141.
