E&L S618 might not be from a popular manufacturer, however, the phone sports amazing features that are too good to be ignored. The manufacturer built the device to be strong and rugged at the same time. In order word, it’s a rugged Android phone for blue collar workers. Design And Display
In terms of design, the E&L S618 is not a classic phone to flaunt around with friends. It’s a strong device that will survive many drops. It’s built with Polycarbonate and it’s available in Black color only. It has body dimensions of 81.5 mm x 165 mm x 12.8 mm and weighs 225 gram. On the front, The E&L S618 has a screen size of 6.18 inches HD+ under IPS capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 996 Pixels and 179 PPI density. The screen is equipped with display protection and it has 71.89% screen to body ratio. On the overall, the E&L S618 is both dust and water resistant.
Camera
The E&L S618 features triple camera set-up. The phone packs a combo rear camera of 13 Megapixels + 5 Megapixels with dual LED flash and a front facing camera of 8 Megapixels with Face Unlock, F2.2 Aperture, and 3-element lens. The FaceID will serve as an added security feature since it has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The main camera has other internal features that will beautify the photos, and it’s capable of shooting 1080p@30fps, 720p@30fps videos resolution.
Hardware And Software
On the inside, the E&L S618 has a MediaTek MT6750 chipset with an octa-core processor that clocked at a speed of 1.5 GHz and ARM Mali-T860 MP2 for graphics. The internal memory is 32GB with a backup of 3GB RAM. The memory can also be expanded with micro SD card up to 256GB.
Powering the phone is a nonremovable battery capacity of 5000 mAh, sadly it does not have support for micro SD card. The E&L S618 is powered by Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition. Other features on the phone include 4G LTE network, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot and Type-C USB v2.0 with OTG.
